Donald Van de Mark is one of a small group of reporters who pioneered business news on television. He was the first Washington correspondent for CNBC. Van de Mark then edited and co-anchored MoneyWeek on CNN, as well as four additional shows on CNNfn: Biz Buzz, Market Wrap, Washington Unwrapped, and Entrepreneurs Only. On August 31, 1998, Van de Mark broke the story of Long-Term Capital Management's near collapse, an event that shook global currency, bond, and equity markets. In 2001 and 2002, Van de Mark wrote and anchored two public broadcasting television series, Great Entrepreneurs and Great Leaders. Now a popular public speaker, Van de Mark lives in Sonoma, California, where he also sells real estate. In 2006 alone, Van de Mark and a partner sold over $88 million worth of property.
