Wendy Meddour was a lecturer at Oxford University before becoming a full-time writer. She is the author of numerous picture books, but Grandpa's Top Threes is her Candlewick Press debut. She lives in the U.K.

Daniel Egnéus is an award-winning illustrator whose work has been published around the world, including special illustrated editions of Neil Gaiman's Anansi Boys, Black Dog, The Monarch of the Glen, and American Gods . This is Daniel Egnéus's Candlewick Press debut. He lives in Athens, Greece.
