Author Notes

ADELE SANSONE was born in Vienna, Austria, and studied there and in Paris. Her paintings and pen-and-ink drawings have been exhibited in Vienna, Innsbruck, Budapest, and Rome. She lives in the Tyrol region of Austria. ANKE FAUST was born in Brilon, Germany, and studied in Mainz. The illustrator of many children's books, she was awarded the Jugendliteraturpreis (Children's Literature Prize) in 2004. She lives with her family in a village near Mainz.
