Summary:
Shadows over Chinatown (65 mins.): Charlie Chan, along with number two son, Jimmy, and his chauffeur, Birmingham, has come to San Francisco to help solve a mysterious murder. They soon encounter a series of unexplained coincidences involving a missing woman, a pickpocket, a dead body and an insurance scam.

Docks of New Orleans (65 mins.): Charlie Chan, along with his enthusiastic "number-two son," Tommy, and his chauffeur, Birmingham, are brought to New Orleans to investigate the mysterious goings-on with the partners at the LaFontanne Chemical Company Soon after, the head of the company is found dead, and a series of unexplainable deaths follow the investigation

Shanghai chest (65 mins.): Charlie Chan is back in San Francisco to solve a triple murder: Judge Armstrong has been stabbed; District Attorney Frank Bronson was shot, and juror Thomas Cartwright is found hanged. However, the only clues at the scene of crimes are the fingerprints of a man who was executed over six months earlier. How could a dead man commit three murders?

Golden Eye (69 mins.): Charlie Chan, along with number two son, Tommy, and the irrepressible Birmingham, travel to Arizona to find out why the owner of a suddenly profitable gold mine thinks someone is out to kill him.
