School Library Journal Review
Gr 5-8-Carson introduces Bell's life, giving readers an excellent picture of why this man became so famous. The second book follows the Wright brothers from their early lives through first diagrams to their historic flight. Woodside presents the life, struggles, failures, and successes of a man whose motto was "the most important way to succeed is always to try one more time." All three books provide clear, concise information in an easy-to-follow format with captioned photographs and illustrations on most pages; related information in shaded boxed areas appears throughout the texts. Researchers will find the material adequate for assignments and may be inspired by the curiosity and perseverance of these men. Useful resources for reports and general reading.-Denise Moore, O'Gorman Junior High School, Sioux Falls, SD (c) Copyright 2010. Library Journals LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Media Source, Inc.
