Summary

The Boxcar Children are traveling to Skagway, Alaska, for the annual Four-Rock Miners' reunion. Long ago, Grandfather's great-uncle and three other men searched for gold in Alaska. Though they didn't get rich, the men became fast friends and decided to meet in Skagway every year to reminisce and pass on their precious souvenirs -- soapstone raven and a scrapbook.Now the descendants of the original Four-Rock miners are continuing the tradition. The Aldens are looking forward to a week of sightseeing and even panning for gold. But before the fun can begin, the raven and the scrapbook that Grandfather is set to inherit for the year go missing.Did someone else who had come for the reunion steal the artifacts? Soon the scrapbook mysteriously reappears -- but where is the raven?
