Summary
Two weary strangers are about to rest their burdens in Eternity Springs, where there's hope for every broken heart.
Haunted by the loss of his wife and son, Daniel Garrett left the police force to devote his life to finding missing children. But he still hasn't found a way to mend the wounds of his past-until he attends a wedding in the small mountain town of Eternity Springs...and meets a beautiful, intriguing woman who offers a glimpse of something Daniel thought he'd never have again.
Shannon O'Toole isn't looking for romance. Ever since her fiancé's death, she created a quiet life for herself restoring Victorian cottages. Still, she can't deny her attraction to the handsome, broad-shouldered stranger. Daniel makes her feel things she's hasn't felt in years-including the desire to share her secrets. But can Shannon trust a detective when doing so could bring danger to her cottage door? In Eternity Springs, anything-and everything-is possible...
"Emily March's stories are heartwrenching and soul-satisfying.

Publisher's Weekly Review
The delightful and uplifting 10th Eternity Springs contemporary (after Teardrop Lane) transmutes heartache and loss into love and hope. Shannon O'Toole is ready to get some rest and perhaps put down roots in the warm and embracing community of Eternity Springs, Colo. With good friends and economic security, she desperately hopes that the terrifying and unrelenting demons from her past will leave her in peace. Daniel Garrett, a PI who finds missing children, continues to grieve the devastating deaths of his son and wife 10 years earlier, but visiting Eternity Springs soothes his soul. When Shannon and Daniel meet at a wedding, the attraction is instantaneous, electric, and profoundly meaningful. As their lives continue to intersect and their relationship hits some unexpected bumps, Shannon and Daniel must decide whether their faith is stronger than their fears. As with March's earlier entries, lovable and well-developed secondary characters add depth and humor. Shannon and Daniel's romance is believable and combustible, and the plot contains more than enough twists and turns to keep the story real and satisfying. Agent: Meg Ruley, Rotrosen Agency. Library Journal Review
Still struggling with his feelings after the tragic murder of his young son and the suicide of his distraught wife a decade ago, cop-turned-private investigator -Daniel Garrett has devoted himself to finding abducted children and avoiding relationships. Pub owner, yoga teacher, and Victorian cottage renovator Shannon O'Toole doesn't do relationships, either, but for very different reasons. Then a wedding brings Daniel to peaceful Eternity Springs and into -Shannon's path, with results that upend both their lives. VERDICT A pair of deeply scarred protagonists find the courage to trust and love again in a soul-searing story that chills the heart of every parent yet brings healing and hope along with an angelic touch and a dash of Christmas cheer to the latest in March's magical series. March (Teardrop Lane) also writes as Geralyn Dawson; she lives in Texas. © Copyright 2015. Library Journals LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Media Source, Inc. No redistribution permitted.
